among others 2026, series in progress, 16 etchings on 6 gsm Tengujô paper, 20 x 20 cm. Limited edition of 5prints from each plate

The" among others" series unfolds across eight expanding diptychs, each opening onto a possible continuation, the work being conceived as a process in becoming.. Each diptych brings together two images separated by an interval that is at once a visible fracture and a space of breathing, fragmenting the gaze and inviting the viewer to reconstruct continuity one diptych to the next, the lines extend and shift from plate to plate, as if the image were exceeding its own limits. The whole forms a network only partially made visible. The lines obey no preconceived design: they emerge from a direct dialogue with the material. Their accumulation produces shifting, almost organic configurations, which evoke no external motif but instead convey an internal movement of forces..The engraved surface behaves like a living tissue, thickening, stratifying, and stretching, until it becomes a field in which matter imposes its own logic. The translucent 6 gsm Tengujō paper acts like a skin, a sensitive interface between the interior of the work and its environment. Light passes through it, revealing opacities and transparencies; the tensions of the network seem to inscribe themselves upon it like a vibrating membraneThis approach to printmaking—non-reproductive, processual, and corporeal—situates the practice within a contemporary perspective, in which the time of making and the repetition of gesture participate in the formation of the image. The work thus seeks to render perceptible rhythms, tensions, and continuities that are usually imperceptible, making the engraved image into a sensitive territory where forces intersect as a network, inscribed within the very skin of the paper.
